How To Connect Wix To Printify

You have been researching a lot about print on demand business. Now you are ready to open your own print on demand store on Wix. In this article, I will show you how to connect your Wix store to Printify and start selling quickly.

1. Use a Gmail account to manage your business.

The most important advice I have ever got is to start your online store with a Gmail account. And this blog is not sponsored by Google.

Why? The reason is that Wix and Printify lets you create accounts by using your existing Gmail. So you only login once to manage the whole business. And you can use the same email to communicate with customers and suppliers. It is very convenient.

Some people told me that it was risky. If someone knows my gmail username and password, that person can control my entire business.

It’s a valid concern. But it’s a small risk because you can protect your account with a 2-step verification process. Step 1 is to enter your username and password. Step 2 is to use your phone. The 2-step verification process is very secure. The thief must know your username, password, and have the control of your phone in order to access your account.

Also, running a business is stressful enough. I don’t want anyone to experience more stress from forgetting the credentials of multiple accounts.

2. Create an account in Printify.

In case you don’t listen to my above advice and use a different email like Yahoo mail, then you must create a Printify account with your email first before you integrate your Wix store with Printify.

4. Add the first print on demand product listing to Wix Store

At this point the integration between Wix and Printify is complete. But you still need some product listings to sell. Also you must test your system. Just make sure your product listings transfer nicely from Printify to Wix.

The process starts in your Printify account. You select a product like a blank T-shirt or mug. Then you attach a design to it, write a good product description, and publish the product listing. The detailed instruction is below.

  1. Select a product (ex: T-Shirt)
  2. Click Start Designing button
  3. Click Add your design to upload your design
  4. Adjust the design to fit the T-Shirt
  5. Click Save product
  6. Click Publish button

Please note that after you publish a product listing, it may not appear on your live store. In that case, you click the Publish button on your Wix site again.

Normally the first product listing isn’t perfect. The pictures don’t look interesting. The product description doesn’t scream buying. That is okay. You only need a product listing to test your store. And you can delete that listing anytime.

Your next product listing is going to be better. And check out my other articles for useful tips on creating product listings that sell.
