How to change strikethrough color in Mac Pages?
By default the strike through line has the same color as the text does. This doesn’t work if you want the strike through line to stand out and catch the attention. Luckily, Mac Pages does allow you to change the strikethrough line color.
You can change the strikethrough line color in the Fonts screen. Simply, click the strikethrough drop down icon which has the T image. Then you can select a single line strikethrough or a double line strikethrough, and change the color. Check out the detailed instructions below.
01. How to change the strikethrough color in Mac Pages?
Whenever you want to change the text, the first task is to select that text. Then you need to display the Fonts screen.
This Fonts screen is very different from the Font section you see in the Format screen. You have way more options to control the appearance of the text. The steps to display the Fonts screen are below.
- Select the text that you want to strike through
- Click the strikethrough button in the Font section in the Format icon
- Click the Format menu
- Click the Font option
- Click the Show Fonts option
Now you look for the icon with the T. Then you click the icon. The last item on the appearing menu is the Color option. Click that Color option and choose your favorite color for the strike through line. And you complete the change to the strikethrough line color.
02. How to double strikethrough in Mac Pages?
Let’s say the single strikethrough line is not lit enough. And you want the double strikethrough line. How do you do it? The bonus trick is below.
On the menu appearing after you click the T icon, you see the Double option. Clicking on that double option will change your strikethrough line from a single line to the double lines.
