How To Build Appointment Booking For Multiple Staffs On Wix
You started your business with one staff member who is yourself. Your business grows over time. Now you have multiple staff members. Your customers want to book appointments directly with those members. How do you enable that on Wix?
Wix Bookings is very simple to use. It is perfect for one man business. But Wix Bookings is totally capable of handling appointment booking for multiple staff members. The instruction below will show you how to use Wix Bookings for multiple staff members.
1. Add new staff to Wix Bookings
Before your customers can book appointments with one of your staff members, your staff member must have a profile and a booking service on Wix Bookings. Follow the steps below to add a new member to your Wix Bookings.
- Navigate to your site dashboard
- Click Booking Calendar
- Click Staff
- Click Add New Staff Member
- Enter the Staff details
- Set Staff Member’s Hours if he or she has different schedule
- Click Save button
2. Google email for each staff member
If you have to create a business email for each staff member, I highly recommend Google mail for your staff members. Because Wix and Google work very well together. You can sync Wix booking calendar with your staff google calendars. Then your staff can monitor the appointments on their phones, laptops, and so on.
3. Add staffs to the booking services
Now you have new staff members on Wix Bookings. From now on, you can choose a different staff member for a new booking service on your site. The steps below show you how to create a booking service with a staff member of your choice.
- Navigate to your site dashboard
- Click Booking Services
- Click Add a New Service
- Click 1-on-1 option
- Enter the booking service General Info
- Under Service Detail, choose one or multiple staffs to work on this service
- Select Price, location
- Click Save button
4. Blocking off time for appointments for each staff
Sometimes your staff members want to take vacation or take time off because they are sick. In those situations, you don’t want your customers to book appointments in the time off period. In order to do so, you must block their calendars for appointment. The instruction below shows you how.
- Navigate to your site dashboard
- Click Booking Calendar
- Click Add Sessions
- Click Blocked Time
- Choose a staff member
- Type some note
- Click Block
