How To Add Instagram Photos to Wix

In today’s marketing world, videos and pictures are doing very well. If you want people’s attention, you must have an instagram account.

Your instagram accounts may have a lot of good pictures. And now you want to bring those pictures to your wix site without wasting time reuploading them again.

So how do you add instagram photos to your Wix site? The instruction below will show you how. But keep in mind that adding instagram photos to your wix website is very different from adding the photos to your Wix blog. That’s why I have 2 separated instructions below.

01. How to add Instagram photo feed to Wix site

You want to show your site visitors the latest update about your business. For that reason, Instagram Feed is the best tool for the job. Everytime you update your instagram, that same update shows up on your websites automatically.

Follow the steps below to set up Instagram Feed app

1. Click Add Apps icon
2. Search for Instagram Feed in search apps
3. Click Add button
4. Click Settings button
5. Click Connect Instagram
6.  Allow Wix to connect with your Instagram account

02. How to add Instagram photos to Wix blog

Unlike a website, a blog targets a very specific topic. Not every picture on your instagram is relevant for a blog post. Probably only a few of them are. Therefore, instagram feed on blog posts doesn’t make sense. Wix doesn’t let you add instagram feed to your blog post either.

However, you can select a few instagram photos for your blog post, bring them to Wix, and add them to your blog posts. The good news is that you don’t have to re-upload the pictures again on Wix. 

Follow the steps below to select the instagram photos and bring them to Wix.

1. Click Media icon
2. Click Instagram icon under Upload Your Media
3. Connect with your Instagram account
4. Select the photos you want for your blog post
5. Click Upload Selection button

Follow the steps below to add the pictures to your Wix blog post.

1. Click Add an image icon
2. Select a picture
3. Click Add to Page button
