How To Add Appointment Booking Form on Wix
A few clients booked appointments with me in the past. Often I wanted to know their requirements for their new websites before the meetings. Therefore, I encouraged them to fill out the booking forms. Without the forms, I would have never been so productive and able to achieve high customer satisfaction.
If your services require some preparation before the meetup time, the booking forms are the perfect tool to acquire information from your customers.
Wix Bookings lets you create such forms easily. The instruction below shows you how to do it.
1. Steps to create a custom booking forms
In the process of creating a booking service, you have the option to insert a custom booking form. However, the option is not obvious on the screen. It is located at the bottom of the page. Anyways, the steps below will show you.
- Navigate to the site dashboard
- Click Booking Services
- Click Edit a booking service
- Scroll to Additional Settings section
- Click Show More button
- Click Create a Custom Booking Form under Booking Form
- Click Save & Continue button on the pop-up screen
- Customize the form like changing the title, adding fields, and buttons
- Click Save Form button after complete
- Click Save button on the booking services
2. Limitation of the booking forms
You can add multiple input fields to the booking forms. But there is a limit on how many characters each field can hold. About 255 characters. Sometimes that many characters aren’t enough. The solution to this is to have a separate page to explain the requirements on the form.
